About Emerald Phoenix Press
A tribute to the authors who shaped literature.
Who We Are
Emerald Phoenix Press is a boutique independent publisher dedicated to creating beautifully crafted editions of timeless literature and original works. Every book is designed with care, combining elegant typography, thoughtful design, and lasting quality to create editions that are a pleasure to own and read.
Inspired by the enduring power of great storytelling, we believe classic literature deserves to be both preserved and reimagined for today's readers. Our editions honour the original works while presenting them with the refinement, clarity, and craftsmanship expected of a modern independent publisher.
Founded by Maya Sunario, Emerald Phoenix Press reflects a lifelong passion for books, design, and technology. Maya approaches creativity with the discipline of an engineer and the eye of a designer, always keeping the reader's experience at the heart of every edition.
What We Publish
Our catalogue is organised into seven distinctive collections—Classics, Heritage, Prestige, Dream, Shakespeare, Children's, and Revival—each representing a unique editorial approach and reading experience.
Some collections focus on beautiful, immersive reading editions, while others offer expanded historical context, premium collector's presentations, or editions created especially for younger readers and families. A single work may appear in more than one collection, with each edition offering a different experience while remaining faithful to the original text.
Alongside our carefully restored classics, Emerald Phoenix Press also publishes original works created with the same commitment to quality, permanence, and thoughtful design. Whether rediscovering a literary masterpiece or introducing a new story, every book is crafted to become part of a lasting collection.
About the Logo — The Emerald Phoenix
The Emerald Phoenix is the symbol and visual heart of Emerald Phoenix Press. Its simplified form combines the phoenix with a heart, representing renewal, hope, and the enduring connection between stories and their readers.
Like the mythical phoenix rising anew, great literature continues to inspire each generation. Our emblem reflects our mission: to preserve timeless works, rediscover forgotten treasures, and publish new stories that will stand the test of time.
